 Cardinal Alert
Manufactured by the same Oregon company that makes the vinyl cling decals to prevent birds from crashing into windows, this product features the same vinyl material but its intended use is somewhat different. This vinyl roll is 48” long and 6” high, features an architectural motif that is reminiscent of stained glass, and prevents birds from pecking at their own reflection on glass or mirrors. Most birds cannot recognize their own image as a reflection of themselves, a mirror image so to speak, and attack it mercilessly thinking it is another of their species invading their territory. Some birds are particularly aggressive in trying to drive “that bird” away and will continue to peck at their reflection until they are bloody. Window Hangers

Our versatile Window Hangers allow you to mount existing feeders directly to any window. Here’s how to place a window hanger:
- Clean the window area where you are going to place the hanger.
- Soak the suction cups in warm water for a few minutes to warm and soften them.
- Dry thoroughly and then rub the suction cups across your forehead, nose or back of the ears to apply a tiny amount of facial oil to the cups. Only use facial oil – do not use food grade or machine type oils!
- Apply the cups to the window and press to remove any air bubbles. The hook stays in place up to 6 months at a time.
- Repeat every six months or as needed.
- All our window suction cups are UV stable, so they hold up and last better than lesser quality cups.
