BIRD FOOD > SUET |
| Wild Birds Online sells only C&S No Melt suet dough. We are in Arizona, where the heat of a warm winter day melts any plain suet. You can imagine the mess in 110° summer day. They are used year round in our Wild Birds Online Suet Feeders. We have found these suet doughs to be attractive many birds - woodpeckers, wrens, flickers, thrashers, and even cardinals, if you provide the right Wild Birds Online Suet Feeder. Different flavors are recommended for different birds or conditions. Birds do not store fat in their bodies as well as we do. Food with a high fat content is necessary for them. All suet doughs include finely ground grains, like corn and oats, in their ingredients to produce a suet product that does not drip or spoil in hot weather. It comes in six flavors, some more attractive to certain birds than others. Birds, like humans, like a little variety in their diet. Please experiment with different flavors and let us know what you observe. |
