| Bird Houses- WildBirdsOnline is proud to offer many models of species-specific bird houses. Made out of thick-cut cedar, they are insect and water resistant and provide excellent insulation for both very cold and very warm climates. Each house is built according to specific dimensions to fit individual species of birds. If the hole size, interior depth, width, and height are not correct, then the intended bird may not use the house. All have hinged clean-out panels. The lack of perches discourages predators from investigating. They are practical, functional, and simple in design. Pre-drilled holes at the top and bottom allow for easy installation. We welcome custom orders. |
| Bat Houses- Each bat house accommodates approximately 35 bats, depending on species. Bats sleep separately by gender during the breeding seasons, so two vertical chambers are provided in each house. The interior panels are grooved to facilitate clinging. Bats will enter and exit through the bottom of the house. A grooved launching and landing platform extends beneath the box. If you require a larger bat house or a different configuration, we will build to your specifications. Install at least 12' off the ground and face away from prevailing winds. Best results occur if placed within 1/2 mile of permanent water although bird ponds, baths, and even hummingbird feeders attract bats. |

| Although we try to keep a good selection of bird houses on hand, we may not always have every species of house available at any given time. It is best to contact us by phone, fax, email, or mail to order your bird house. It may take 4-6 weeks to receive your bird house if it is not in stock. |
